Blazing Fire

What is Blazing Fire?

Blazing Fire infuses ordinary haircolor with blazes of fiery red tones, and is an exciting technique for Levels 1-Black to 4-Light Brown.

What products do you use?

Jazzing Sheer Haircolor #58 Ruby Red, #40 Red Hot, BW2 Powder Lightener and any Clairol Professional Developer.

If hair is relaxed or permed, make sure hair is in good condition and wait one week and one shampoo before performing. Hair with any degree of porosity will decolorize more rapidly. Strand test to check timing.

  1. Create Blaze

    • Apply Jazzing #58 Ruby Red to clean, dry hair from scalp to ends.
    • Cover hair with plastic cap and process under a warm dryer for up to 30 minutes.
    • Rinse till water runs clear and towel dry thoroughly.
  2. Pre-lighten

    • In a non-metallic bowl, mix 1 oz. BW2 Powder Lightener with 2 oz. 20-volume Clairol Professional Developer to a creamy consistency.
    • Using the highlighting tool of choice (gloved fingers, tint brush, artist paint brush, or foils), apply the lightener mixture to selected strands of hair that frame the face.
    • Process at room temperature until selected strands reach a Contributing Pigment of Yellow-Gold (Level 8).
    • Rinse till water runs clear and towel dry thoroughly.
  3. Infuse Fire
