What is Gray No More?

The Gray No More! technique is a beautiful solution to resistant gray. Flawless coverage and heightened dimension are the creative keynotes, achieved with Miss Clairol Gray Busters on Level 4, Light Brown, highlighted hair with 30% gray.

What products do you use?

Miss Clairol Gray Busters and Clairol Professional Developer.

  1. Mix the following formula: NOTE: If client is not a Natural Level 4, choose a Gray Busters shade at the client’s same Level, or darker.

    • 2 oz. Miss Clairol Gray Busters 84N, Light Neutral Brown
    • 2 oz. Clairol Professional 20-volume developer

  2. Apply formula in a virgin application method, beginning ½-inch away from roots, to ends.

  3. Mix a fresh batch of the same formula and apply at roots, being careful not to overlap. Process 45 minutes.

  4. Rinse, shampoo, condition.

  5. Special Tip 1:

    For improved gray coverage using client’s current Miss Clairol formula, substitute up to 1 oz. of a Gray Busters shade in the same Level.

    (Example: 1 oz. 35G + 1 oz. 85N + 2 oz. Clairol Professional 20-volume developer.) Process 45 minutes.

  6. Special Tip 2:

    For increased coverage on resistant gray hair, add ¼ to ½ oz. of a Gray Busters shade 1 Level deeper than the current formula.

    (Example: 1-1/2 oz. 35G + ½ oz. 84N + 2 oz. Clairol Professional 20-volume developer.) Process 45 minutes.
