What is Penny Bright?

The Penny Bright technique transforms a client's Natural Level 7 hair and Level 9 ashen highlights into a shimmering cap of bright-as-a-penny dimensional color.

What products do you use?

Complements Hydra-Drench Demi-Color, Complements Intensifiers, Complements Color Prompter.

  1. Section hair, creating a triangular section from crown to temple.

  2. Mix two formulas

    • Foil Formula 1:
      • 1-3/4 oz. Complements Permanent Cream Color 8RC, Light Red Copper Blonde
      • ¼ oz. Complements Red Intensifier
      • 2 oz. Clairol Professional Pure White Creme Developer
    • Foil Formula 2:
      • 1-11/2 oz. Complements Permanent Cream Color 10G, Lightest Gold Blonde
      • ½ oz. Complements Gold Intensifier
      • 2 oz. Clairol Professional Pure White Creme Developer

  3. Place back-to-back foils throughout frontal portion of hair, alternating foiling formulas and slicing vertically.

  4. While foils are processing, create a rich copper-blonde base on all hair not in foils

    • Mix:
      • 1 oz. Complements Demi-Color 6RC, Dark Red Copper Blonde
      • 1 oz. Demi-Color 8RC, Light Red Copper Blonde
      • 2 oz. Complements Color Prompter

    • Process 15 minutes. Shampoo and condition.
